Will you come with me to the parade?

There’s going to be singing

and dancing.

I would really like to go,

it’s my first one, you know

out.

I’m out right?

I want to go to the parade

but I don’t want to go alone.

Everyone there is

so much more

certain.

Please come with me to the parade.

I am not sure I am proud

yet,

but when you hold my hand

I’m able to pretend

that I’ve always known.

So come to the parade with me,

we can dress from head to toe

in rainbow,

and dance among the crowd

until I am proud.
